Originallly from Melbourne Australia, Gaye has been travelled extensively in Turkey for over 25 years. Since 2007 she has been based in Istanbul.
During the years 2009-2016, Gaye ran an historical Ottoman Hotel in the old city of Sultanahmet and organised unique tours of many of her guests, family, groups of friends, and individuals – tailored to their specific interests and time frames.
She is passionate about sharing the best of Turkey with her guests and ensuring that they leave Turkey with lasting memories of its culture and people.

Erdal had worked in the tourism industry for many years and been part of Kontes Travel team for over ten years.
He is the organiser behind our tours, has contacts with all the best hotels and tour providers and is very experienced in putting your travel plan into action.
Erdal follows your tour program as you travel around Turkey and is available on call 24 hours a day should you need anything during your travels. He is the go-to person for any issues that arise along the way and is in constant communication with our providers.
With his experience and contacts he will ensure that your tour plan, from your first arrival transfer to your last departure and everything in between is timed to perfection.
